A Canadian visa is the first thing you need if you want to come to this beautiful country. Don't miss the important information about the latest entry regulations that Vietnam Visa Services Center will share below to make your journey complete.
Canada entry process
Your flights to Canada will go smoothly and save a lot of time if you understand the entry process:
- Step 1: The flight attendant will give you an entry form when the plane is about to land in Canada.
- Step 2: You directly fill in the information on the form and only use English or French.
- Step 3: After completing, you go to get your luggage at the conveyor belt area and move out the door,
- Step 4: You submit the declaration to the customs officer standing at the inspection counter outside.
- Step 5: After completing the baggage inspection procedures and related documents, you will be guided out.

Note:
To connect to your next flight, please contact the transit counter near the exit. The arrival area is usually different from the departure area, so you will need to move your luggage to this area and then check in for your next flight.
The customs officer will check your Canadian visa to check your visa, customs declaration and may ask a few questions to complete the procedure.
Notes on filling out the Canadian entry declaration form
- The information on the declaration form must be filled in English or French.
- All information on the declaration form must be filled in capital letters. Each box must contain only one character.
- Only a maximum of 4 people with the same address can be declared on each entry declaration form. The self-declared information of each individual must be accurate. If you carry in your carry-on luggage or deposit cash or goods of CAN 10,000 (about VND 182,000) or more, you must declare it immediately.
- If any case of false declaration is discovered, it is considered a violation of Canadian law, which can lead to severe penalties such as fines, even being blacklisted, or even being banned from entering the country permanently.
- It is necessary to carefully prepare documents such as: passport, plane ticket, financial documents, etc. to be able to present them whenever requested.
